deforestation restoration is a nonprofit environmental campaign that aims to shed light on the pressing issue of deforestation in the amazon rainforest, emphasizing its detrimental impact on biodiversity and wildlife habitats. while deforestation is a widely recognized problem, many are unaware of its root causes and the severe environmental consequences it entails. through this campaign, i seek to educate and raise awareness among both the environmentally conscious and those less informed, urging them to take action against rainforest deforestation.
at the heart of deforestation restoration lies a powerful visual metaphor: the rings of cut trees. these concentric rings not only represent the age of the trees, but also serve as a poignant symbol of the interconnectedness of life within the rainforest ecosystem. i believe such simple yet impactful imagery encapsulates the profound loss of biodiversity and habitat destruction caused by deforestation, compelling viewers to contemplate the devastating consequences of their wasteful and unsustainable actions.
the campaign comprises six key elements, each designed to amplify its message: three thought-provoking magazine ads, a striking poster, a captivating website landing page, and additional supporting items including a tote bag, mural, and buttons. through deforestation restoration, i seek to reach diverse audiences and ignite a collective call to action.
