my goal for wildwood was to revolutionize the conventional plastic packaging used for granola bars. recognizing the urgency of environmental sustainability, i worked to redefine packaging solutions. after extensive research and consideration, i decided to integrate seed paper as a sustainable alternative. this innovative approach not only addresses the issue of plastic waste, but also transforms each box into a small yet impactful contribution to our planet’s well-being.
i was inspired by the innate beauty of nature. drawing upon organic elements and natural landscapes, i crafted a series of vector illustrations to encapsulate the essence of wildwood. each visual element was thoughtfully curated to evoke a sense of harmony and eco-consciousness, seamlessly aligning with the brand’s ethos of sustainability and a positive environmental impact.
not only do i hope to challenge the status quo of packaging design, but also to ignite a conversation about responsible consumption and the power of conscious design choices. by blending creativity with purpose, i strive to inspire others to embrace sustainable practices and make a positive impact on our planet—one seed paper box at a time!
